Information:

The Zelda Collector's edition is a bonus disk in which Nintendo released to boost the sales of the Nintendo Gamecube in Q4 2003.

The disk is nothing much, just includes the titles The Legend of Zelda (1), Adventure of Link (2), Ocarina of Time (3), Majora's Mask (4), and a 2 demo of The Wind Waker (5). As well as a The Wind Waker movie (6) and a movie about the History of Zelda (7).

1 - The Legend of Zelda looks spectacular in the higher resolution (640x480), and right from the start you will notice that the copyright on the introduction frames, 2003 has been added, but like all of the other games on this disk, it is mainly just the original game. nother noticable item is that "Gannon" on the original version has been changed to "Ganon," like on the Zelda games released after Adventure of Link.

2 - Adventure of Link, a game that has altered fan-made Zelda timelines in many ways, again, looks mainly the same other than the fact that the resolution seems to also have been upgraded. The same change goes for this game, "Gannon" has been changed to "Ganon."

3 - Ocarina of Time has made another debut on the Gamecube (the past one being as a bonus with The Wind Waker), and in this one, the game seems to run even smoother and seems to be the most updated game on the disk. Ocarina of Time Master Quest is not included on this disk, so hold on to that other bonus.

4 - Majora's Mask looks like it's the game with the most flaws. Right when booting the game, you will get a notice reading, "You may notice slight sound irregularity when playing 'The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask'. This is a result of transferring the game from its original N64 version to Nintendo Gamecube and does not indicate any problem with your system. This irregularity does not occur when playing other Gamecube software." The game also seems a little more blurry. This may have been from the resolution upgrade and failure to smooth out the graphics. This really disappoints me; Majora's Mask is one of my personal favorites. Zelda Central used to be an MM-only site.

5 - The Wind Waker demo is a short demo (20 minutes), which is only to promote the gameplay of The Wind Waker.

6 - The Wind Waker movie is a trailer, which lasts 2 minutes, and has the same purpose of the demo, to promote the Wind Waker.

7 - History of Zelda, which is something I was looking foward to, is surely disappointing. I was expecting a long, in-depth movie dedicated to the excellency of what is Zelda, but NO, Nintendo gives a lame 2 minute movie, playing music and game footage.
