Fierce Deity Link outside of battle
Do this before the third day - Get on Epona with the Fierce Deity Mask equiped on a C button and go to either Milk Road or the Southern Swamp and Z-Target one of the owl statues and press A, while still on Epona, and save. Resume, and you might still be on Epona. Press the C button that the Fierce Deity's Mask is on to transform. A beeping noise will start happening, don't press anything until the 2nd day as your game might freeze, and as you hit the 2nd day, the beeping noise should stop. Hold Z and press A, and you will fall into the ground and appear as Fierce Deity.

Invisible Great Fairy's Sword
With the Great Fairy's Sword equipped, go to Clock Town and try to put the sword in a mailbox. Of course, you can't, but when Link reaches to get the sword back, his hands will be in the motion, but the sword won't be there.

Alternate Opening Sequence
After starting the game, press Start quickly to get to the menu. Press Up on the Options screen and hit A. As soon as that screen appears, press B to return to the menu select screen, and press B quickly again to return to the intro screen, but surprisingly, it's different.

  • ride epona in clock town and control epona without link Get on epona and YOU HAVE TO RIDE INTO MILK ROAD AND DONT GET OFF EPONA OR IT WONT WORK! ride up to the owl statue. Save ur game. Then go back onto ur game. If you did it right, epona will be riding into the wall. now, u can use ANY item thats on ur c buttons. dont press start or it wont work. now take out or ocarina and warp to clock town. you'll be riding epona there! you can do the same thing to the owl statue there. remember to ride into the area and dont get off epona. once u restart ur game you'll be riding into the wall again. now, take out ur ocarina then put it awa. then move the control stick. you'll be controlling epona and not link! to get link back onto her just push 'a'

  • Easy Money Outside Clocktown in the Termina field head toward the Milk Road. Near the trees you will be attacked by a vulture who is ready to steal your Rupees, and other items. If you are able to beat the vulture you will be rewarded with 200 Rupees. You can deposit the money in the bank and then go fight the vulture again. There is no limit to how many times you can fight the vulture.

  • Fix The Signs First cut up a sign then play the "Song of Healing" which is C-Left, C-Right, and C-Down. The sign will fix itself. (aka Zelda's Lullaby) Jump Forward 12 Hours Play this song with the Ocarina to travel forward in time 12 hours: C-Right, C-Right, A, A, C-Down, C-Down

  • Stone Mask Secret A hidden feature of the Stone Mask is that it will camouflage Link. This is helpful because most of the enemies will not be able to see you. Bosses will still be able to see you, but most of the typical "run-of-the-mill" bad guys will ignore you.

  • Advance Ahead 12 Hours: Play each note in the Song of Time twice (C-Right x 2, A x 2, C-Down x 2) and you will skip ahead twelve hours.

  • Slow Time Down: Play the song of time backwards (C-Down, A, C-Right, C-Down, A, C-Right) and you will slow the flow of ingame time by two.

  • Heal Broken Signs: Play the Song of Healing (C-Left, C-Right, C-Down) and you can put signs back together.

  • Change Masks Faster: Press any button when switching masks to skip the cutscene,

  • Path Through The Swamp Woods: The path differs from day to day. The first day is left , right, right, straight, left, left. The second and third day it is right, left, straight, left, left, right

  • Free Red Potion: Go to the Woods of Mystery in Southern Swamp. Follow the monkey to the witch (Koume). Talk to her, then leave. Go to the Magic Hag's Potion Shop talk to Kotake. She will give you a red potion. Do not take it to Koume and you can use it for yourself. If you drink it, just go back to the shop and she will give you another potion. Note: This is helpful when getting the Stone Mask.

  • Jump Farther: As Deku Link, you can use a spin attack when jumping across lilypads or cliffs to get more distance. You can roll before the jump with Link or Zora Link to also get a further jump distance.

  • Easily Gaining Items Back From Takkuri Bird: There is a bird flying near the entrance of Milk Road. If you manage it kill it (around 15-20 hits Link) then you will an orange (200) rupees! But if the bird hits you, it can knock valuable things like bottles and swords from your inventory. Play the Song of Time to warp back in time and you will regain these lost items.

  • Unlimited Rupee Tactics

    20 - Max Rupees
    While in Clock Town, wait until 10:00 P.M. and slow down time using Inverted Song of Time (C-Down, A, C-Right twice). Then go to east Clock Town and enter the Trading Post. Catch a fish in a bottle from the small stream running through it. Take it next door to the Curiosity Shop and sell the fish. The man will pay 20 rupees every time this is done. It can be repeated until morning, when the shop closes.


    60 Rupees
    On the second night, go into the Laundry Pool and there will be three red rupees in the stream.


    100 Rupees
    Go up the stairs in the middle part of East Clock Town, so that you're above the Milk Bar. Then face south and do a series of Rolling Jumps, over Honey and Darling's sign. You will find a chest at the end, behind the Shooting Gallary's sign.


    100-200 Rupees
    Once you get the Inn Key, you can find a rupee chest in "your" room on the second floor with a silver rupee (100). There's also a silver rupee chest in the Employee's Only room, but it is only open after midnight on Day 3.


    100-300 Rupees
    When going towards Ikana Canyon, instead of freezing the Octorocks, jump in the water and swim to the left, behind the waterfall. Go through the cave entrance and you will be at the entrance to a secret room. You must use the Light Arrow in order to open the door. Inside you will find a spirit man who tells you the same lingering regrets story, and four doors. Each door will let you fight a mini-Boss, but you need a lot of hearts or you will not be allowed to enter. You can fight three Dinolfos, Eyegore, and more. You will get 100 rupees for each successful battle.


    200 Rupees
    Defeat the Takkuri bird near the flying around the entrance to Milk Road to get 200 rupees. The easiest way to defeat it is to turn into a Deku Scrub and wait for it to swoop down upon you; then do a Spin Attack. It will take about 15-20 hits to kill it. Be careful though! The Takkuri Bird will sometimes knock rupees or even swords, shields, or bottles out of your hand when it hits you
