Dampe
The gravedigger of the Graveyard, who is deceased (but not fully!) after becoming Adult Link.

Darunia
King of the gorons to whom you have to prove your courage to recieve the Goron Ruby by defeating the boss of Dodongo's Cave.

Destiny
Kokiri who is the sister of Mido. She is who sits on the ledge atop of the Kokiri Shop.

Epona
The horse in which you can ride after becoming Adult Link.

Ganon
The monster that thrives inside Ganondorf.

Ganondorf
Evil wizard who holds the Triforce of Power, and is using it to try to take over the world of Hyrule.

Great Deku Tree
Gaurdian of the kids of Kokiri Forest. Dies after breaking the curse that thrives inside him.

Happy Mask Salesman
The odd-looking man who owns the Happy Mask Shop.

Impa
The bodyguard of Princess Zelda.

Ingo
Works at Lon Lon Ranch, and is jelous of the owner, Talon.

King Zora
Father of Ruto, who is rather large in size, who is worried sick because his daughter is missing.

Link
The main character of the game whose destiny is to save the world of Hyrule against the clutches of Ganon.

Malon
The daughter of Talon who owns Lon Lon Ranch. She teaches you Epona's Song. Refers to Link as the "fairy boy."

Mido
Kokiri who is rude and really jelous of you being friends with Saria.

Nabooru
Joins Ganondorf in his plans to take over Hyrule, but only has plans to destroy the evil king.

Navi
Fairy friend who was appointed to you by the Great Deku Tree. Navi joins you throughout your journey and gives you helpful tips.

Princess Zelda
The princess of Hyrule who is later kidnapped by Ganondorf.

Ruto
Owns the Zora's Sapphire, which is eaten by the giant fish, Jabu Jabu. She is extremely rude to Link until he rescues her and recovers the sapphire, then she loves Link and wants to marry him.

Saria
Best friend of Link, who gives him the Fairy Ocarina just before leaving Kokiri Forest.

Sheik
Joins you as you become Adult Link whose true identity may surprise you.

Skull Kid
These are the guys who get lost in the Lost Woods and turn into odd-looking creatures.

Talon
Owns Lon Lon Ranch.
